Robinson
The SKY/Basquete Cearense announced the hiring of Bernard Robinson (198-F-81, college: Michigan) for the NBB. The player is known to the brazilian public mainly from fans of Minas Tenis Clube where he played for in the third edition of the NBB.

The 31-year old and 1.98 m tall, had spells time with the NBA, where he was choose of the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2004 NFL Draft on the 45 position. In the year 2007 the player was traded to the New Jersey Nets. But a knee collateral ligament injury ended his NBA career.

After a long break due to injury, the athlete played in the Dominican Republic on the Metres of Santiago in 2010, before landing in Minas Tennis Club to compete in the NBB 3, where he was the main player of the reformulated team. With good performance, Robinson was hired by Argentina's Quimsa, where his performance fluctuated, and now is back to Brazil to defend the SKY/Basquete Cearense

Coach Alberto Bial commented on strengthening:

"I Met Robinson when he played for Minas and liked the athlete. We needed a player like this, with great physical strength, left-handed and always seeks the infiltration. He arrives tomorrow to make medical examinations and, if all goes well, he should debut in the next match, against the League Sorocabana.
