Gremio Mogi das Cruzes/Unip (NBB) released 24-year old American forward Ryan Bacon (200-88, college: St.Peters). In three NBB games he played this season he had just 2.3ppg and 2.0rpg.
The last season Bacon played at Elitzur Ramla in Israeli National League. In 31 games last year he recorded very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 9.2rpg, 1.2apg and 1.3bpg.
His college team won MAAC Tournament in 2011.
Bacon was also voted All-MAAC 2nd Team in 2011.
He graduated from St.Peters College in 2011 and it is his second season as a professional player.

Flamengo signs M.J. Rhett, ex Leones SD - 2 days ago
Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (NBB) signed 25-year old American (has also Dominican passport) power forward M.J. Rhett (206-107kg-92, college: Mississippi). He played this summer at Leones de Santo Domingo in LNB league in Dominican Republic. Rhett managed to play in six leagues in four countries last year (!!!). In 31 LNB games he had very impressive stats: 17.2ppg, 7.0rpg and 3.0apg. The last season he played at Cholet Basket in French ProA where in 10 games he recorded 7.2ppg and 3.9rpg.    [read more]
