It may not be the NBA, but its the next best thing, and Brasilian Scott Machado (185-PG-90, college: Iona) is making the best
of his abilities with Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the NBA DLeague.
Scott played at US College, Iona and was tapped to make the Houston Rockets roster, but came up
short before the regular season.
The late signing of James Harding probally hurt Machados chances of making the Rockets, but he is
thriving nicely in the D League.
Hes averaging close to 13 points a game for the Vipers and he may get a call up to the NBA before
the end of the NBA season.
