There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with extra overtimes, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin.

The most exciting game of round 16 in the NBB took place in Sao Paolo. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked Pinheiros (10-5) to seventh ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (9-5) 74-73 on Saturday evening. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-73. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DeAndre Coleman (201-86, college: S.Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and international guard Larry Taylor (185-80, college: Missouri Western, agency: Veracity Sports, LLC) who added 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Lucas Dias (205-96) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Paschoalotto/Bauru maintains seventh position with 9-5 record. Even 22 points and 5 assists by the former international forward Luis Felipe Gruber (205-85) did not help to save the game for Uberlandia. Sao Jose/Vinac moved-up to fifth place. Uberlandia at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. Sao Jose/Vinac will play against SKY/Basquete (#8) in Aldeota in the next round.
