Center Feliciano Perez (210-C-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Botafogo F.R., receiving a Latinbasket.com Liga Ouro Player of the Week award for round 7. The 26-year old player had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Santos/Macapa (#5, 4-8) with 22-point margin 101-79. It allowed Botafogo F.R. to consolidate first place in the Brazilian Liga Ouro. Botafogo F.R. have a solid 10-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Perez as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Feliciano Perez has solid league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 6.8rpg) and assists (4th best: 0.6apg).
The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old Rafa Oliveira (200-SF-93) of league's second-best Contagem. Oliveira had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Of course Contagem cruised to a 76-66 relatively comfortable win over Brusque (#6, 0-12). Contagem's second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just two games this season, while they won 10 matches. Oliveira is one of the most experienced players at Contagem and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
Third on the list of top players last round was guard Luiz Nepomuceno (193-G-95) of Santos/Macapa (#5). Nepomuceno scored 19 points and passed four assists. Despite Nepomuceno's great performance Santos/Macapa lost 68-124 to the higher-ranked Botafogo F.R. (#1, 10-2). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Santos/Macapa not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 8 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Nepomuceno could try to bring Santos/Macapa's a little bit higher in the standings. Nepomuceno has a very solid season. In 11 games in Brazil he scored 11.7ppg.

We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
