The ACBD Rio Claro basketball team have add two more players for the 2013 season. The managers of the team sign the american player Brandon Brown (178-PG-89, college: Montana-West), the point guard will have his second professional experience after 16 games in Australia while playing for the Mount Gambier Pioneers and average 16.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.4apg Brown is not a tall player, but use his speed to force the offensive game, he is a product of Montana-Western a school that playes the NAIA. ACBD Rio Claro also have agreed with Rafu Da Silva (197-G/F-83, college: New Haven), the guard had a couple of offers from other clubs, but decided to stay for one more season at the club. Rafu will lead the team in the offensive along the two american players.

Croatia U19 wins Dubrovnik Tournament with 4 participating teams. The home side of the event posted three victories in three games. In Day 3 Croatia U19 rolled over Brazil U19 67:53. The latter finished second with 2-1 record.

Croatia U19 wins Dubrovnik Tournament with 4 participating teams. The home side of the event posted three victories in three games. In Day 3 Croatia U19 rolled over Brazil U19 67:53. The latter finished second with 2-1 record. Both teams entered the game undefeated and it was Brazil to start with 20-12 lead. Croatia however needed a strong second period and grabbed a 28:27 halftime advantage. Croatia increased to 54:46 in the third period and then won the game by 14 points. Dario Saric (208-F/C-94, agency: XL Basketball Agency) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Bender added 16. Maric notched 10, while Tomislav Gabric (201-PF-95, agency: XL Basketball Agency) posted 9. Dias ended up with 14 points in defeat, whilst Leonardo Demetrio (204-F/C-94), Sommer and Verado had 6 each.

The Argentinean forward actually joined Macae for the Carioca League back in April. Now he extends for the next season. Last season Pablo Espinoza started with Obras. He posted 9.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game in LigaA. The forward notched 8.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 steal per Liga Sudamericana appearance. Pablo Espinoza was named All-Argentinean TNA Player of the Year in 2010. He has been the member of the Argentinean National Team since 2011.

Igor Kanygin (207-F/C-94, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) stepped up with 15 points for Russia and Pavel Krechetov (188-PG-94) added 13. Alexander Gankevich (201-PF-95) and Yuriy Pershin (190-G-94) followed them with 7 points each. Croatia U19 meanwhile posts the second straight win in Dubrovnik at the International Tournament with 4 teams. In Day 2 Croatia beat Argentina U19 89:80. The latter suffered their second straight loss.
