Thirteenth-ranked Liga Sorocaba (4-16) made lots of trouble for first ranked Brasilia (15-5) on Thursday. Brasilia managed to secure only two-point victory 79-77. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Fulvio de-Assis (188-81) who scored 13 points and 7 assists. International power forward Lucas Mariano (208-93) chipped in 15 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Ted Bento (199-80) who recorded 18 points and 5 rebounds. Brasilia have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-5 record. Liga Sorocaba lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 16 games lost. Brasilia are looking forward to face Pinheiros (#8) in Sao Paolo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Liga Sorocaba will play at home against the league's second-placed Flamengo (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.

Vivo/Franca will meet Caxias do Sul (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pinheiros will play against the league's leader Brasilia (#1) and hope to secure a win.

Other games of round 21 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Caxias do Sul was defeated by Vitoria in Salvador 76-67. B.Cearense beat Caxias do Sul at home 88-78. Vasco Da G. lost to Vitoria on the opponent's court 64-73. Flamengo managed to outperform Campo Mourao in a home game 79-69. Mogi rolled over Macae on the road 90-69. Minas was defeated by Paulistano on its own court 85-96.
The best stats of 21th round was 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Frederico Lima of Caxias do Sul.

B.Cearense - Vasco Da G. 89-80
