Ambalt Recanati (Serie A2) landed 33-year old Brazilian point guard Paulinho Boracini (183-80kg-84). He started the season at Minas in Brazilian NBB league. In 25 games he averaged 8.8ppg, 2.3rpg and 3.7apg this season. The last season Boracini played at Paschoalotto/Bauru (also in NBB) where in 34 games he had 9.3ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.9apg. He helped them to make it to the final after they ended regular season as second best team.
Among other achievements Boracini received Latinbasket.com All-Paulista League Guard of the Year award back in 2013.
He was a member of Brazilian U21 National Team in 2004.
Boracini has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America and of course North America). Boracini has played previously professionally in China (Beijing Ducks), Brazil (Joinville, Corinthians, Pinheiros, Paulistano and Esperia) and Italy (Jesi).
His game is described as: A young PG with leadership and court vision, has yed a good international experience.
