An exciting game was played in Joinville. Third ranked Joinville faced 3rd placed Santos/Macapa. Host Joinville (5-3) smashed guests from (4-6) 95-76. The best player for the winners was Maxwell Dias (198-91) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Lucas Vezaro (188-96) chipped in 20 points. Guard Luiz Nepomuceno (193-95) produced 12 points for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Joinville maintains third place with 5-3 record having just two points less than leader Botafogo F.R. Santos/Macapa at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Joinville are looking forward to face league's leader Botafogo F.R. in Rio de Janeiro in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Santos/Macapa will have a break next round.

Contagem have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-2 record having just one point less than leader Botafogo F.R. Blumenau at the other side keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Contagem will have a break next round. Blumenau will play against Brusque (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
