Campo Mourao nipped Vitoria to force the decisive fifth game in the series. Worth to mention a great performance of Douglas Nunes (208-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Isaac Thornton (190-91, college: Fairmont St.) contributed with 14 points for the winners. American point guard Kenny Dawkins (175-87, college: Lamar) replied with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import guard Keyron Sheard (188-86, college: Chattanooga, agency: Haylett Sports) added 18 points in the effort for Universo/Vitoria.

Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Murilo Becker (211-83) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 8 rebounds and American guard David Jackson (195-82, college: Penn St.) who added 14 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Vasco Da G. players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Cordero Bennett (188-88) responded with 17 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Desmond Holloway (191-90, college: Co.Carolina) scored 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Paulistano dropped Basket Cearense on the road to send the series into Game 5. Paulistano outrebounded SKY/Basquete 50-33 including 35 on the offensive glass. The winners were led by point guard George Lucas (195-96) who scored that evening 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Lucas Dias-Silva (209-95) supported him with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Four Paulistano players scored in double figures. Even 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists by the former international point guard David Rossetto (180-93) did not help to save the game for SKY/Basquete. The former international guard Eduardo Machado (193-82) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Very significant was Joinville's (#3, 7-4) victory against 4th placed Blumenau (4-7) 78-74. It was a great evening for guard Lucas Vezaro (188-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points. point guard Jeferson Froehlich (193-91) helped adding 15 points and 6 rebounds.
