29-year old Brazilian ex-international center Vitor Faverani (212-118kg-88) left FC Barcelona Lassa (Liga Endesa). In 6 games he averaged 9.2ppg and 5.0rpg this season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Faverani also played 9 games in Euroleague where he had 7.7ppg and 4.2rpg. The other team he played that season for was UCAM Murcia. In 15 Liga Endesa games he recorded 9.7ppg and 4.5rpg.
Among other achievements Faverani's team won Israeli Cup in 2016. He received also Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Import Player of the Year award back in 2011. Faverani was a member of Brazilian Senior National Team in 2013.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Faverani experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Faverani has played previously professionally in Italy, NBA (Boston Celtics), Spain (Valencia Basket, Zaragoza, Gipuzkoa and Clinicas Rincon), Israel (Maccabi Fox Tel-Aviv), Brazil (Araraquara) and D-League (Maine Red Claws).
He is described as: A powerful pivot with great moves inside. Yet a "beast" defensively, he has improved his offensive skill, becoming a very good scoring center.
