Bauru - Paulistano 82-75

Bauru held off Paulistano to force the decisive fifth game in the series. Paschoalotto/Bauru had a 36-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Paulistano helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Isaac Goncalves (196-90) contributed with 22 points for the winners. International point guard Yago Dos-Santos (178-99) replied with 22 points and the former international point guard Deryk Ramos (185-94) added 16 points in the effort for Paulistano. Paulistano's coach Gustavo Conti rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.

Mogi outgunned Flamengo to reach Finals. Flamengo was ahead by 1 point at the halftime before a 53-35 second half run of Mogi. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!) (made all of his eight free throws) and the former international point guard Larry Taylor (185-80, college: Missouri Western) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side the former international center Anderson Varejao (211-82) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and Venezuelan point guard David Cubillan (181-87, college: Marquette, agency: Pro Sports) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
