Vitor Benite
VITOR BENITE
We bring you last week's top performances from Brazilians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Vitor Benite
Vitor Benite
#1. This week's number one is an international shooting guard Vitor Benite (194-90, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Spain). He could not help UCAM Murcia (16-16) in their last game. Despite Benite's very good performance UCAM Murcia was edged 63-61 at home by the leading Real Madrid. He was the top scorer with 20 points. Benite also added 6 rebounds in 25 minutes on the court. It was UCAM Murcia's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Benite has relatively good stats this year: 11.0ppg, 1.6rpg, 2FGP: 51.2%, 3FGP: 39.5% and FT: 91.3%(42-46) in 32 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Brazilian senior national team.

Marcelinho Huertas
Marcelinho Huertas
#2. Second place goes to an experienced former international point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83, currently plays in Spain). Huertas was the major contributor in Baskonia's victory against one of league's weakest teams RETAbet BB (8-24) 78-74 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday. He scored 11 points and added 7 passes. Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (23-9) is placed second in the Liga Endesa. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. It's Huertas' first season with the team. This year Huertas averages: 7.7ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.5apg, 2FGP: 54.7%, 3FGP: 34.8% and FT: 87.5%. He has a dual citizenship: Brazilian and Italian. Huertas played for the Brazilian national team in 2016.
