Prosper
Gaiteros de Zulia (LPB) landed 29-year old British V.Islands power forward Lester Prosper (208-106kg-88, college: Old Westbury). He played recently at Rafael Barias in District National in Dominican Republic. This season Prosper played at Windsor Express in Canadian NBL Canada.
In 2013 (two years after he left the college) Prosper was drafted by Maine Red Claws (D-League) in sixth round (95th overall).
He attended SUNY-Old Westbury (NCAA Div.III) until 2011 and it is his sixth season in pro basketball.
Prosper received All-Skyline Conference 1st Team award back in 2011 at his college time.
Prosper represented British Virgin Islands at the Skyline Conference Championship seven years ago.
He is a very experienced player. Prosper has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Prosper has played previously professionally in Colombia, Mexico (Halcones de Ciudad Obregon), Russia (Spartak Primorie Vladivostok), Saudi Arabia, Slovakia (Prievidza and Handlova), Spain (Araberri), Sweden (Norrkoping Dolphins), United Kingdom (Cheshire Phoenix) and Canada (Power).
