Wahoo Academy was the favourites, having gone through the entire league undefeated, largely due to their towering lineup with the likes of Guiesha Smith, Amanda Stone and Ebony Walton. Both teams came out with all heart for school glory and were trading baskets for the first few minutes of the game, but when Yolanni Manzanares went down with an injury, Diamonds fans knew that their offense would suffer greatly. Nevertheless the Diamonds gave everything they had, but the Wahoo team would have the final say as they were able to keep their lead and finish with a 28-16 final score.

Guiesha Smith was the finals MVP, finishing with 14 points, 15 rebounds and 3 steals.

For the Clifton Hunter Diamonds: Lacee Barnes finished 9 points, 14 rebounds and 3 steals.
