The defending champions Esso Blazers jumped up to a 10 point lead in the first quarter in game one, Even though the dominos Warriors were able to pull off a 25 to 13 fourth-quarter comeback, in overtime Jason Campbell led the Blazers to victory.

Campbell led all scorers with 37 points and six assists, while teammate Davie Cotterell poured in 22 points six rebounds and four assists, Shad O'Garro Also added 18 points 11 rebounds eight assists seven steals and seven blocks having the best overall performance of the game. Esso won 102-96.

For the Dominos Warriors Borislav Djordjic's bed with 30 points, 15 rebounds and two blocked shots, teammate Jerome Narcisse added 17 points, four rebounds while Lloyd Samuels added 16 points three rebounds and four steals. Capt. Colin Anglin also added 14 points and four assists.

In game two of the series the Dominos Warriors seem to have the formula figured out for their opponents. From the very beginning the dominoes Warriors led the Esso Blazers, opening up with the first half of 32 points they outscored their opponents by eight points. they also outscored their opponents by 14 points in the third quarter and from there the game was pretty much over Despite a 40 point fourth-quarter by the Esso blazers. Dominos won 81-76

For Esso Davie Cotterell led with 22 points 2 rebounds, Kevin Maxwel added 15 points and five rebounds Shaad O''Garro added 15 points 11 rebounds 4 blocks and five steals.

In game three the Esso blazers came out with a vengeance and we're fast and furious as the sped up and down the court. The pace of the game caught the dominos Warriors off guard and they found themselves with a 14 point deficit at the end of the first-quarter. Although the game would go pretty evenly the rest of the way, the first quarter deficit proved to be too much for the Warriors to overcome. Final score 87-71 And the Esso blazers for the first time in their history have become repeat champions.

Four Esso Shaad OGarro lead with 21 points 11 rebounds 4 assist 4 blocks and six steals. Josh Cotterell added 19 points.

For the dominos Warriors captain Colin Anglin led with a game-high 29 points including five from beyond the arc along with three assists. Borislav Djordjic added 12 points and six rebounds, Lloyd Samuels added 10 points. For the second straight year the Warriors have fallen victim to the Blazers let's see what happens next year.

Shaad O'Garro (199-F/G-90, college: Le Moyne-Owen) was the MVP of the series with an incredible average of 18 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 6 steals and 5 blocks per game!

Sol Blazers celebrated defeated Peachwave (Silver Bullets) 87-77 in a deciding third game of the Men's Division 1 finals to be crowned 2017 Cayman Islands Basketball Association champions Sunday night (11 June).
