Digicel National League has entered the semifinal stage. And the first games proved highly competitive.
Silver Bullets earned a 78:76 victory over Sol Blazers in the opener. Brandon Glasgow scored 23 points to pace the regular season champions. Denton Cole added 16 points for Silver Bullets. Kevin Maxwell (80) responded with 22 points and 14 boards for Sol Blazers. However the fourth team of the regular season evened the series in the next game. Sol Blazers snatched a 68:65 road win to level things up at 1-1. Davion Cotterell finished with 19 points to pace the visitors. Stephen Shaw (190-G) had 17 points and 15 boards in the defeat.
Dominos Warriors opened their semifinal clash with Caledonian Lions with a loud upset. The Warriors crushed the Lions 99:67 on the road to surge ahead in the series. Collin Anglin erupted for 33 points in the victory. Jerome Narcisse (193-G/F-87, college: SW Oklahoma St.) added 23 points and 11 boards for the Warriors. Borislav Djordjic (203-F/C-82, college: Stetson) replied with 24 points and 24 boards for the Caledonian Lions. The second game however had a different scenario. The Lions pulled back together and snatched an important 87:85 victory. Borislav Djordjic sank 30 points to pace the winners. Jerome Narcisse answered with 27 points and 11 boards in the loss.

Sol Blazers caught up with Silver Bullets on top of League's standings. Sol Blazers outgunned their key rivals 92:89 in the key matchup of the week. Shaad O'Garro (199-F/G-90, college: Le Moyne-Owen) scored 34 points and grabbed 14 boards to pace the winners. Samuel O'Garro (195-G-88, college: Eckerd) added 30 points and 10 rebounds for Sol Blazers as they improved at 8-1 record. Davion Cotterell responded with 29 points for Silver Bullets.
