Sol Blazers and Dominos Warriors exchanged victories in the opening two games of the championship series.
Sol Blazers earned a 97:75 victory in the opener. Samuel O'Garro (195-G-88, college: Eckerd) came up with 24 points and 10 boards to pace the winners. Kevin Maxwell (80) added 25 points and 8 rebounds for Sol Blazers. Jerome Narcisse (193-G/F-87, college: SW Oklahoma St.) responded with 33 points and 12 rebounds for the Warriors.
Dominos Warriors bounced back in the second game. They held off Sol Blazers 92:88 at home court. Collin Anglin (186-G-78) stepped up with 32 points in the victory. Jerome Narcisse added 27 points and 12 boards in the winning case. Jasen Campbell (86) and Deandre Simpson (196-F-90) had 19 points each in the loss.
The third game is scheduled for June 8.

The defending champions are continuing the dominance throughout the National Men's League 2017 Season. Although they aren't doing it in the emphatic fashion as in past seasons, the Blazers are still a force to be reckoned with. WB Financial boosts youth basketball - 5 months ago
Victor O'Garro, better known as Coach Voot, technical director for basketball in the Cayman Islands, has received a sponsorship check for $1,500 from Virginia Czarnocki of WB Financial for the development of the Cayman Islands Basketball Association Under-19 league. The CIBA U-19 games are played at Clifton Hunter High School on Saturdays from 3 p.m. There are four male teams and four female teams participating in the league. Wesleyan Academy wins trophy in Blue Iguana Basketball Jamboree - 1 Year ago
Wesleyan Christian Academy took home the championship trophy from Cayman International School's annual Blue Iguana International Basketball Jamboree as the reigning champions for the fifth year in a row. Triple C finished second and Cayman Prep was third after defeating Aruba, who finished in fourth place.
