Tinguiririca clinch LNB title - Jan 27, 2014

Tinguiririca claimed the LNB title. They overcame Osorno Basquetbal in the championship series. Tinguiririca needed four games to earn the historic victory in the best-of-five series. The decisive win came in the fourth game of the series on the road. Patrick Saez (193-G/F-79) stepped up with 27 points to pace the winners. He was named the MVP after the game.
Osorno got to a confident start. The hosts grabbed a 22:17 lead after ten minutes. The margin grew at 10-point mark in the second quarter 34:24. But Tinguiririca gradually took over. They pulled ahead 44:41 at the interval. The visitors maintained the lead throughout the third term. They entered the fourth stanza up by 4 points 70:66. Tinguiririca boosted their lead to 10 points in the fourth frame. Osorno did not surrender getting within a striking distance but failed to deliver the decisive blow and lost the battle.
