Preparing the new WNBA season, the San Antonio Silver Stars played their first preseason game. This was the first game as an WNBA player for the chilean center Ziomara Morrison (193-C-89, agency: Regeneracom Sports). In the loss against the Indiana Fever (69-67), the NT player scored 10 points. The next preseason game will be held this wednesday against the same team.

This summer she played at San Antonio Silver Stars. Morrison won Spanish LF2 Group B championship title in 2011. She also represented Chile at the South American Championships in Santiago (Chile) three years ago. Her stats at that event were 4 games: Score-3 (18.5ppg), Reb-1 (11.3rpg), 2.0apg, FGP: 46.9%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 75.8%. They entered the fourth frame up by 11 points 61:50. Erkic and Vadja opened a 16-point lead for Rivas Ecopolis midway through the final term and they never looked back en route to the win. Olexandra Kurasova accounted for 15 points, while Anna Cruz had 14 points for the winning side. Monique Currie responded with 20 points for Perfumerias Avenida. She plays for Dynamo-GUVD Novosibirsk. Her stats read 13.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.3 boards in EuroCup. Yvonne Turner also delivers 14.5 points, 3.4 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game in PBL.
