One of the new teams for Dimayor league is San Fernando. The new team signed the former Womens National Team Head Coach, the argentinian Cristian Santander , to lead this adventure in the oldest league in the country.
To lead the team on the court, they signed one of the best point guards of the last decades, Patrick Saez (193-G/F-79), one of the winningest players in the history of the chilean basketball. Alongside Saez they have promising young players as Claudio Cabrera (200-F-88), Franco Morales (179-G-92) and Benjamin Acuna (190-G-88).
As import players, San Fernando signed the americans Kenny Jones (198-PF-84, agency: Dream Team Management, college: Kentucky St.) and Allan Sheppard (196-F). Jones is a 28 years old Power Forward with playing experience in the NCAA 2,leagues in the United States and Germany. Sheppard is a forward with playing experience in the NCAA, Iceland and Ecuador.

The basketball in Chile has a new beginning. After 34 seasons, Dimayor league has officialy ended. CD Universidad de Concepcion and CD Tinguiririca San Fernando signed their foreign players for the upcoming Dimayor season. Terrell Taylor (203-C-81, college: Virginia Tech) is back with CD Universidad de Concepcion. CD Tinguiririca San Fernando signed the americansEric Traimiel (201-F-88, college: N.Texas) and Albert Jackson (211-F/C-88, college: Georgia). Tramiel has playing experience in Chile, when last year he was part of Catolica's roster. Jackson is a 25 year old center with playing experience in Uruguay, Argentina and Holland. Both players are alrrady with the team preparing for the start of the season.
