After round 4 of Dimayor 2012, Liceo Mixto is the exclusive leader of the league with a 4-0 record after weekend victories against Quilicura and San Fernando. The forward Jonathon Avery (201-F-88, agency: Gamble Sports Management, college: IUPUI) scored 27 points in both games to lead Liceo. In Concepcion, CD Universidad de Concepcion won both games at home against Duoc and Universidad Catolica, led by Terrell Taylor (203-C-81, agency: Dream Team Management, college: Virginia Tech) and the shooting guard Evandro Arteaga (178-G-83). The best player of the weekend was the forward Jeffrey Fahnbulleh (200-C/F-85) who averaged 30 points and 23 rebounds (34 points and 28 rebounds against Virginio Gomez and 26 points and 18 rebounds against Universidad de Concepcion). These are the complete results.

Instituto Atletico Central Cordoba (LigaA) tabbed 31-year old American power forward John DeGroat (201-100kg-85, college: Pittsburgh). DeGroat managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). He played most recently at CDU Concepcion in Chilean Libcentro Pro. In only one game he had 3 points and 3 rebounds. Tinguiririca San Fernando improved to 16-1 record in Libcentro Pro beating Liceo de Curico 88-78. They grabbed a 28-23 lead at the end of the first period and added a 22-19 rally in the second frame. Moreover Tinguiririca San Fernando closed the game with a final 22-19 run to seal the victory. Franco Morales (179-PG-92) erupted with 47 points to lead all the winners, while Juan Luis Abeiro (196-C/F-88) notched 19.
