Flamengo clinched the second straight win in the South American League Group C. They knocked down Deportes Castro in Mar del Plata yesterday. Olivinha Rodriguez (202-F-83) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds to pace the Rio de Janeiro team.
Flamengo jumped to a 19:13 lead after ten minutes. They increased the tempo in the second quarter. Flamengo erupted for 35 points in the second term. The Brazilian side accumulated a 54:33 halftime advantage. Flamengo kept Deportes Castro at bay throughout the third quarter. The Brazilian side ensured a 24-point buffer before the final frame. Flamengo did not loosen the grip in the fourth term clinching victory. Marquinhos Vieira (207-F-84) scored 21 points, while Eduardo Machado (195-G-82) contributed 12 points for Flamengo. CamRon Clay (203-PF-82) and Gonzalo Velasquez (185-G-81) answered with 17 points each for Deportes Castro.

Colegio Los Leones have been crowned LibCentro Champions as they beat Tinguiririca San Fernando 74-70 in the last game. The decisive was an 11-0 run made throughout the second half when Los Leones grabbed a 58-47 lead. Earlier Colegio Los Leones beat Municipal Puente Alto 86-78. After being tied at 20-20, Los Leones posted a 28-20 rally to take the lead and won the game.
