The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

The game between Top Four teams took place in Castro. 3rd placed host CD Castro (10-8) lost to second ranked Osorno Basquetbol (13-5) 85-68. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of CD Castro. It was a great shooting night for Osorno Basquetbol especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 5 rebounds. Center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy, agency: Interperformances) helped adding 16 points and 17 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Tyrone Lee (204-90, college: Grand Valley St.) with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Osorno Basquetbol have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-5 record having just two point less than leader Los Leones. CD Castro at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Osorno Basquetbol are looking forward to face Deportivo Valdivia (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CD Castro will play against the league's leader Los Leones (#1) in Quilpue and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Espanol de Talca (#4) was upset in Concepcion by eighth ranked Universidad de Concepcion 74-57. It was an exceptional evening for American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds. Carlos Lauler accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Dwight McCombs (203-89, college: Cent.Florida) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for Espanol de Talca in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Universidad de Concepcion (5-6) moved-up to seventh place. Espanol de Talca at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Universidad de Concepcion will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Espanol de Talca will play on the road against Puente Alto (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Liga Nacional top team - Los Leones (13-3) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Universidad Catolica (4-13) in Quilpue 82-75. The best player for the winners was Brandon Bowdry who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was John Dickson who recorded a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds. Los Leones maintains first place with 13-3 record. Loser Universidad Catolica keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Tinguiririca S.F.. Los Leones will meet at home CD Castro (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Universidad Catolica will play against AB Ancud (#6) and hope to secure a win.
The game in Ancud was also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Las Animas (8-7) played at the court of sixth ranked AB Ancud (8-10). AB Ancud defeated Las Animas 87-74. It was a good game for Reginald Larry who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. The victory was the third consecutive win for AB Ancud. They maintain sixth place with 8-10 record. Las Animas at the other side keep the fifth position with seven games lost. AB Ancud's next round opponent will be Universidad Catolica (#10) in Santiago. Las Animas will play on the road against Puerto Montt (#12) and hope to win that game.

In the last game of round 15 bottom-ranked Puerto Montt lost to CD Valdivia on the opponent's court 87-98.

Los Leones - CDU Catolica 82-75

Liga Nacional top team - Los Leones (13-3) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat ninth ranked Universidad Catolica (4-13) in Quilpue 82-75. The best player for the winners was American swingman Brandon Bowdry (200-88, college: E.Michigan, agency: Inception Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Eduardo Marechal (186-85) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Los Leones players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import power forward Brandon Crawford (201-84, college: Albion) added 12 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Los Leones maintains first place with 13-3 record. Loser Universidad Catolica keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Tinguiririca S.F.. Los Leones will meet at home CD Castro (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Universidad Catolica will play against AB Ancud (#6) and hope to secure a win.

It was a good game for American Durrell Summers (193-89, college: Michigan St.) who led his team to a victory with 36 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds. The former international Gerardo Isla (201-91, college: Columbia, MO) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Deportivo Valdivia's coach Juan Manuel Cordoba allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American power forward Mike Phillips (201-90, college: Howard) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) added 24 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Puerto Montt. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Deportivo Valdivia maintains eleventh place with 8-5 record. Puerto Montt at the other side stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Deportivo Valdivia's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Osorno Basquetbol at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Puerto Montt will play against Las Animas (#5) and hope to win that game.
