The most important game in the last round took place in Castro between third ranked CD Castro (12-10) and twelfth ranked Puerto Montt (9-10) on Sunday night. CD Castro was edged by Puerto Montt in a tough game at home 66-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of CD Castro. Leader Los Leones delivered the sixteenth victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Puente Alto (7-13) 90-84 in Quilpue. American forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field).
