The round 21 was rather boring as all games ended with very predictable results.

Liga Nacional top team - Los Leones (17-5) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Universidad Catolica (5-17) in Santiago 93-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Universidad Catolica. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-84. 32 personal fouls committed by Universidad Catolica helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for the former international point guard Evandro Arteaga (178-83) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. American forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) answered with 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for Universidad Catolica. Universidad Catolica's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Los Leones have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 17-5 record. Universidad Catolica at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost. They share it with Tinguiririca S.F.. Los Leones are looking forward to face Universidad de Concepcion (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Universidad Catolica will play against Espanol de Talca (#7) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game between fifth ranked Universidad de Concepcion (12-7) and 8th ranked Las Animas (11-10) in Concepcion ended with biggest points difference. Universidad de Concepcion outscored guests from Valdivia 75-50.
