AB Ancud fired past Puerto Montt to take 2-1 lead in the playoff series. The best player for the winners was American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international point guard Pedro Sandoval (175-89) chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five AB Ancud players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Ulloa (170-90) added 9 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

CD Valdivia eked out a narrow road win over Las Animas to gain the third straight win. Las Animas were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Deportivo Valdivia forced 22 Las Animas turnovers. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for Durrell Summers (193-89, college: Michigan St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St., agency: HMS) helped adding 11 points and 10 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Dominic Cheek (198-91, college: Villanova) with 29 points and 9 rebounds and center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Aspire Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds.

Puente Alto trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 28-22 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 86-92 at the end of the game. Puente Alto was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Dwight McCombs (203-89, college: Cent.Florida) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import swingman Decorey Jones (201-90, college: Faulkner) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Tinguiririca beat CDU Concepcion to narrow the deficit in the playoff series. The game was mostly controlled by Tinguiririca S.F.. Universidad de Concepcion was better in second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tinguiririca S.F. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Universidad de Concepcion helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was an exceptional evening for Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (196-88) who led the winners and scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
