Tinguiririca toppled CDU Concepcion to even the series at 2-2. Tinguiririca S.F. shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Universidad de Concepcion's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (196-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and Venezuelan center Jose Juan Bravo (202-86, agency: Pro Sports) who added 18 points during the contest. At the losing side American center Paul Harrison (203-89, college: N.Greenville) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Universidad de Concepcion's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Los Leones overcame CDU Catolica to step closer to the semifinal stage. Universidad Catolica was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 29-21 charge of Los Leones, which allowed them to win the game. They made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The former international point guard Evandro Arteaga (178-83) fired 30 points for the winners. American swingman Brandon Bowdry (200-88, college: E.Michigan, agency: Inception Sports) chipped in 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Four Los Leones players scored in double figures. American forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) produced 45 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (on 16-of-20 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import power forward Brandon Crawford (201-84, college: Albion) added 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side.

Puente Alto - CDE Talca 84-91

CDE Talca toppled Puente Alto to advance into the semifinal stage. It looked good early as Puente Alto took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Espanol de Talca had a 27-17 second period charge getting the lead and Puente Alto was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 84-91. It was a great shooting night for Espanol de Talca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American forward Dwight McCombs (203-89, college: Cent.Florida) who scored that evening 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Pablo Barraza (184-94) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists by Venezuelan guard Jovanni Diaz (195-92) did not help to save the game for Puente Alto. Forward Franco Garrido (181-86) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Four Osorno Basquetbol players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds by the former international center Rodrigo Madera (208-90) did not help to save the game for CD Castro. The other American import forward Arnold Louis (201-90, college: Savannah St., agency: HMS) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Aspire Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and the former international power forward Jose Del Solar (195-90) added 24 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Las Animas. Puerto Montt topped AB Ancud to level things up at 2-2 in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Puerto Montt. AB Ancud was better in third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by AB Ancud helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by American guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import power forward Mike Phillips (201-90, college: Howard) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds.
