Los Leones topped CDU Catolica to advance into the next round of playoffs. It looked good early as Universidad Catolica took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Los Leones had a 25-12 second period charge getting the lead and Universidad Catolica was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 71-86. American DeAndre Coleman (201-86, college: S.Alabama, agency: DTMones) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Darrol Jones (193-94) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Brandon Crawford (201-84, college: Albion) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the former international swingman Jose-Ignacio Collao (194-87) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Universidad Catolica. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Universidad Catolica's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest.

CDU Concepcion cruised past Tinguiririca to force the sixth game in the series. The game without a history. Universidad de Concepcion led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Tinguiririca S.F.'s 44. They outrebounded Tinguiririca S.F. 43-25 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Universidad de Concepcion looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. British-American Darren Phillip (201-78, college: Fairfield, agency: DTMones) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Universidad de Concepcion's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Argentinian power forward Juan Luis Abeiro (196-88) responded with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international swingman Patrick Saez (193-79) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. AB Ancud made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. AB Ancud outrebounded Puerto Montt 35-24 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Osorno overcame CD Castro to win the playoff series 4-1. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Osorno Basquetbol's pressure prevailed and they won that period 16-9 extending their advantage to 14 points. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Osorno Basquetbol players scored in double figures. Osorno Basquetbol's coach R Isbej used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Terrance Thomas (198-80, college: Baylor, agency: Interperformances) produced 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Tyrone Lee (204-90, college: Grand Valley St.) added 19 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the guests.
