CDE Talca outgunned CDU Concepcion to take 3-1 lead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Espanol de Talca. Universidad de Concepcion managed to win third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 27 personal fouls committed by Universidad de Concepcion helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Dwight McCombs (203-89, college: Cent.Florida) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The other American import swingman Decorey Jones (201-90, college: Faulkner) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Espanol de Talca players scored in double figures. American forward Anthony Danridge (196-86, college: N.Mexico) produced 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Jamaican-American guard Akeem Scott (185-83, college: High Point) added 24 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.

Los Leones upset Tinguiririca to sweep the quarterfinal series. The guests trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 27-13 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Los Leones made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of American swingman Brandon Bowdry (200-88, college: E.Michigan, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 32 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import DeAndre Coleman (201-86, college: S.Alabama, agency: DTMones) who added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side Brazilian center Lucas Tischer (208-83) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Argentinian power forward Juan-Luis Abeiro (196-88) scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. AB Ancud outrebounded Deportivo Valdivia 41-19 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan swingman Francisco Centeno (201-85) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) who added 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Las Animas toppled Osorno to even the series at 2-2. Osorno Basquetbol was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Las Animas made 26-of-34 charity shots (76.5 percent) during the game, while Osorno Basquetbol only scored six points from the stripe. Osorno Basquetbol was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Franco Morales (179-92) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. American guard Dominic Cheek (198-91, college: Villanova) contributed with 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Las Animas players scored in double figures. International forward Juan Fontena (196-87) replied with 24 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) added 23 points and 4 steals in the effort for Osorno Basquetbol.
