Osorno surged ahead in the series versus AB Ancud. AB Ancud trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 26-16 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 92-95 at the end of the game. Osorno Basquetbol shot 62.5 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. American forward Brandon Robinson (198-89, college: Clayton St.) fired 30 points for the winners. Nigerian-American center Reggie Okosa (208-80, college: La Salle) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. Venezuelan swingman Francisco Centeno (201-85) produced 32 points and American forward Reginald Larry (198-86, college: Boise St., agency: Pro Sports) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Los Leones claimed victory in the opener against CDE Talca.
