Bukaros start the first game of the final playoff taking control of the game, Cory Bradford on fire in the first quarter leaded the Bukaros to a 12 points lead, but entering the second quarter Guerreros had a different attitude and thanks to its defense began to climb in the scoring board.
Rashad Bell had another great game leading the local team with 26 points including 4 three pointers, Stalin Ortiz also as usual had a 20+ night.
Guerreros defense was the key to change the game, forcing turnovers and running the fastbreak, Bukaros keep close in the third and middle of the fourth quarter, but closing the fourth Guerreros was more fresh and outscored Bukaros 20-4 to get the final 16 points lead and get the first game of the final playoff.

Guerreros 100 R. Bell 26 pts, S. Ortiz 20 pts, J. Tello 16 pts + 8 rebs, S. Malloy 12 pts + 12 rebs

Bucaros - Cimarrones 88-81 Bucaros rallied past Cimarrones to secure their Liga DirecTV Finals appearance. Bucaros dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Cimarrones' 44. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Cimarrones' players. Sabios - Academia 76-73 Sabios held off Academia to cut the deficit in the semifinal series. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Academia won third quarter 14-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
