Aguilas de Tunja already got their import players roster complete, adding the american small forward Tyrone Rayson (198-F-80, college: East Central), the player is having his first overseas experience and will fill the 3 spot.
The colombian-venezuelan player Jean Carlos Garcia is also back in Tunja, he played last season with Patriotas and is probably the most experienced player in the roster, Jared Corpus from San Andres is also in the roster for the season opener, the directives are still trying get a couple more of Colombian players.

The most exciting game of round 18 in the Liga DirecTV took place in Montana. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Condores (8-10) to second ranked Academia (11-7) 81-78 on Wednesday evening. Academia looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Givens' 30-point game gives him Player of the Week award - 29 minutes ago
29-year old guard Brandon Givens (198-G-87) put on an amazing game in the last round for Piratas and receives a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 17. He had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and three assists for Piratas in his team's victory, helping them to beat Aguilas (5-13) 97-85. Liga DirecTV round 17 most important game was a victory of Piratas over 7th ranked Patriotas 97-85 on Tuesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Piratas. Patriotas managed to win fourth quarter 26-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
