CIMARRONES WON THE FIRST GAME AGAINST BUCAROS - Jun 7, 2016

Cimarrones won the first game of the semifinal playoffs against Bucaros 90 - 86, despite loss the battle of the boards against Cimarrones during the regular season Bucaros start with a small ball line up including Luis Julio in the middle surrounded by Thomas, Obasi , Sapp and Jackson trying force missmatches in the perimeter specially facing Enielsen Guevara, Cimarrones by his side sent Guevara, Caicedo, Haskins, Goard and Sperling as starters.
At the begin Bucaros strategi works well and the team reach a 3 point lead finishing the first quarter, but Cimarrones grabbing the boards were able to run the court to keep Bucaros close and finish the first half just 1 point behind.
In the second half the local Cimarrones got the game tempo leaded by Rodrigo Caicedo (180-PG-88) and Tyquane Goard (201-F-93, college: Marshall) took a lead that reached a maximum of 6 points, Bucaros back to its starting five cut the distance at the end to finish 1 point behind entering the last quarter.
In the last quarter Bucaros made a big effort to fight for the game Michael Jackson (197-F/G-87) had a key role in the task but Cimarrones found in the rebounds the way to keep the game under control and get the first victory in the semifinals.

Hapoel Unet Holon (Winner League) tabbed 27-year old American forward Justin Martin (198-93kg-90, college: SMU, agency: Interperformances). He played in the summer at Caciques in Colombian LPB league, but left. In 7 games he averaged 12.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg.
