Colombia reached its first victory of the tournament defeating Peru , Colombia had a slow start in the defense allowing Peru a 0-7 partial, but the awaken arrives and controlling the boards and moving the ball the national team began to score to finish 3 points ahead at the end of the first quarter, Stalin Ortiz find his rhythm and lead the offensive, Hansel Atencia coming from the bench was also a spark pulling the Colombian reaction.
The Colombian dominance was clear wining all the quarters, all the 12 players has minutes in the game and 10 of them scored, Colombia 13 out of 26 three pointers and shot 50% from the field, in the rebounds Colombia grab 42 to complete his game control.
Stalin Ortiz leaded the scorers with 26 pts, Hansel Atencia had 17 with 5 out of 6 three pointers.

Hapoel Unet Holon (Winner League) tabbed 27-year old American forward Justin Martin (198-93kg-90, college: SMU, agency: Interperformances). He played in the summer at Caciques in Colombian LPB league, but left. In 7 games he averaged 12.6ppg, 6.6rpg, 3.0apg and 1.3spg.
