Douglas
Chiquito
Gaiteros de Zulia (LPB) added to their roster 31-year old guard Douglas Chiquito (193-86) from Gigantes.
The most of last season Chiquito spent at Guaiqueries where in 25 LPB games he recorded 5.7ppg and 1.8rpg. Chiquito also played earlier that season for Gigantes. In 15 LPB games he averaged 7.3ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.1apg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Chiquito won Venezuelan LNB championship title in 2012, 2014 and 2015. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-Venezuelan LNB 2014 1st Team back in 2014.
Chiquito has played previously for four other teams: Guaros de Lara 2, Marinos, Bucaneros and Furreros between LPB and LNB.
On Chiquito: Developing player at the 1-2 positions who's starting to show a mature approach to the game when given the ball to guide his teammates and seems to be improving his long distance shots as accuracy and confidence are there with him.
