Matt Morgan (205-F-87, college: Winthrop) current player of Ferreteria Brenes Barva (Costa Rica-LBS) gave an interview:

Why you decided to be a pro player?

Ever since I picked up a basketball at the age of 4, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career. I've always had a passion for the game.

There are many players without a job fighting for the same spots, how hard is to wait for your ideal offer and not take the first that comes up considering that the next one may not come soon?

To be honest, it's a hard process. I've learned from experience that you need to have patience. Every job isn't for you, even if it's the only offer you have on the table. You need to do your research and make sure you're in a good situation for your career. My advice is while you're waiting continue to work out hard as if it's your job because you never know when you will get your call.

Which was the best game you had in your career so far?

My best game in my career so far was against Tadamon in the top league in Lebanon (LBL) with the game high 21 points and I snagged 6 rebounds.

Tell us your strong point and your weakness in your game?

The strong point in my game is being able to shoot the 3 consistently as a PF/SF or stretch 4 position for my stature. It stretches the defense and makes defenders play honest defense. As a student of the game, there is always room for improvement. During off seasons, my goal is always to perfect my craft.

Which player was the hardest opponent to play against?

Denver Nuggets top pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, Nikoloz Tskitishvili who plays for Champville in Lebanon. A 7-footer that can shoot the 3 and put the ball on the floor.
