There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in LBS.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from San Jose: Coopenae (#1) and Escazu (#2). Escazu was smashed at home by 19 points 67-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Escazu. Undefeated Coopenae (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Escazu at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Coopenae are looking forward to face Barva (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Escazu's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in San Jose to the arena Universidad Latina.
Very significant was Barva's (#3, 3-2) victory against one of their biggest challengers Grecia (2-5) 86-64. Defending champion maintains third position with 3-2 record having four points less than leader Coopenae. Grecia at the other side keeps the fourth place with five games lost. Barva will play against league's leader Coopenae in San Jose in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Grecia will have a break next round.
