Dixon
Coopenae ARBA San Ramon (LBS) signed 33-year old ex-international center Jefferson Dixon (196-84) from Escazu. Dixon has played there for the last four years. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Dixon won Costa Rican Apertura League championship title in 2009 and 2012.
He was also a member of Costa Rican international program for some years. Dixon played for Costa Rican Senior National Team between 2007 and 2011 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2002.
He also represented Costa Rica at the COCABA Championships in Cancun (Mexico) eight years ago. Dixon's team got to the Semifinals.
He has spent his entire career in Costa Rica playing for six other teams: Liceo, Seminario, Barva, Saprissa, Santa Cecilia and Sanatura Basket-Desamparados.
Dixon could be described: A young inside player, who plays with great intensity in the paint.
