Coopeservidores Escazu (LBS) added to their roster 30-year old Costa Rican guard Michael Jackson (190-87). It is actually his comeback to San Jose as he has played here before. Jackson He just played at Academia in Colombian Liga DirecTV. In three games he recorded 5.3ppg and 3.0rpg this season.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Jackson played in the final of Colombian Liga DirecTV-1 in 2016. He was also voted Latinbasket.com All-El Salvador Liga Mayor Torneo Clausura Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
Jackson represented Costa Rica at the South American Championships in Caracas (Venezuela) last year. His stats at that event were 5 games: Score-2 (17.6ppg), 4.8rpg, 1.0apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 50.8%, 3PT: 38.5%, FT: 65.0%.
Jackson has played also professionally in Costa Rica (Liceo), Colombia (Patriotas, Islanders, Patriotas and Bucaros) and El Salvador (Aguila).
On Jackson: A very good shooter from every side of the court, he's matured and now playes at star level. Very quick player. Lots of experience. Not afraid to shot in front of taller defenders.
