William Granda (189-SG-85) led the winners with 23 points in a 66:60 victory in the decisive fifth game of the series. Ciego de Avila and Capitalinos stayed close throughout the first quarter. The defending champions eked out a 14:13 lead after the starting quarter. They boosted the gap in the second quarter. Ciego de Avila recorded a 38:27 halftime lead. However Capitalinos turned things around in the third quarter. They went on a 20:11 rally to erase the deficit. But William Granda helped Ciego de Avila make a decisive 19:13 push in the fourth quarter as they sealed the win.
