Karel Guzman
Ciclista Olimpico de La Banda (LigaA) added to their roster 23-year old Cuban international forward Karel Guzman (188-95). He started the season at played at Ciclista in the TNA. In 40 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.8ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.8apg and 1.8spg this season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week (2 times).
The most of last summer Guzman spent at Capitalinos in Cuban LSB where in 14 games he averaged remarkable 17.4ppg, 3.1rpg, 1.6apg and 2.8spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Cuban LSB 2nd Team and League Player of the Week. Guzman also played for Capitalinos (also in TNA) in Cuban earlier that season. Great year indeed as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Cuban LSB 2nd Team and League Player of the Week.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Cuban LSB Regular Season for two years in a row (2015 and 2016).
Guzman also represented Cuba at the Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz (Mexico) four years ago. His team got to the Semifinals.
