Ciego de Avila became the second LSB finalists. They overcame Villa Clara 83:58 in Game 4 of the semifinal series to book the championship series ticket. The teams stayed close throughout the first half. The scoreboard read 38:38 at the big break. But Ciego de Avila raced off to an 11-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. They controlled the tempo throughout the final stanza and cruised to the victory. William Granda (189-SG-85, agency: Pro Sports) produced 26 points for the winners. Yasser Rodriguez (187-PG-88) added 21 points in the victory. Andy Boffil (190-G/F-82) responded with 19 points for Villa Clara.
The Finals are set to begin on April 4th.

Barcelona Sporting Club (National League) landed 26-year old Cuban swingman Marvin Cairo (201-95kg-91, agency: Pro Sports). He played in the summer at CAN Oruro in Bolivian Libobasquet. Cairo's team made it to the Ecuadorian National League Semifinals in 2016. He is a very experienced player. Indios de San Francisco (LNB) inked 26-year old Cuban center Ismael Romero (203-100kg-91, agency: Paris Global Sports). He played in the summer at Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 31 games he recorded 14.5ppg, 8.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.2spg. A very good season in his career as he was voted to Puerto Rican BSN All-Star Game.
