The list of other players, who all have Cuban passport but never been selected to any of Cuban national teams:

#1. Howard Sant-Roos (200-F-91, currently plays in Czech Republic) was the major contributor in a CEZ Nymburk's victory against the fourth-ranked USK Praha (16-15) crushing them 84-56 in the Czech Republic NBL in Tuesday night's game. He had a double-double by scoring 15 points and getting 13 rebounds. Sant-Roos also added 4 assists in 20 minutes. CEZ Basketball Nymburk (31-1) is placed first in Places 1-6 group. It was his team's tenth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. Sant-Roos has relatively good stats this year: 13.7ppg, 6.3rpg, 3.6apg and 2.2spg in 29 games he played so far.

#2. Ismael Romero (203-C-91, agency: Paris Global Sports, currently plays in Puerto Rico) could not help Atleticos in their last game on Thursday. Despite Romero's very good performance Atleticos was defeated 87-77 on the road by the second-ranked Capitanes. He was the top scorer with 19 points. Romero also added 8 rebounds. Romero has reliable stats this season: 14.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.7apg and 2.3spg.

#3. Experienced Yudniel Perez (189-G-84, also represented by Paris Global Sports, currently plays in Puerto Rico) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ismael Romero. But that was another game of his team in Puerto Rican BSN which we would like to mention. Perez led Atleticos to a victory against the closely-ranked Indios (1-2) 92-83. He scored 17 points in only a mere 14 minutes. Atleticos de San Germanis placed fourth in the BSN. Perez's stats this year are: 11.0ppg and 2.7rpg in three games.

#4. Adrian Diaz (213-C-93, college: FIU, currently plays in Romania) contributed to a BC Timisoara's victory against the sixth-ranked Pitesti (11-17) 97-90 in the Romanian Liga Nationala last Wednesday. He recorded 15 points; quite an impressive performance considering it's only Diaz's third season in pro basketball. BC Timisoara (13-15) is placed fifth in Places 1-6 group. It was his team's first victory after four consecutive loses. They will play only one more game in the Second Stage. And now that game is very crucial. Diaz's stats this season are: 11.2ppg and 5.0rpg. He has a dual citizenship: Cuban and American. Strangely Diaz has never played in Cuba.

#5. Juan Pineiro (193-G-90, another player represented by Paris Global Sports, currently plays in Puerto Rico) was not able to help Brujos in their game against Indios (1-2) in the Puerto Rican BSN. He scored 8 points and had 3 steals in 18 minutes. The bottom-ranked Brujos lost 90-94 in Mayaguez to the higher-ranked (#7) Indios. So far Brujos lost all three games in the Regular Season. But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Pineiro's overall stats are: 4.7ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.3apg in three games.

#6. Yankiel Moreno (189-G-90, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Bondi Ferrara (11-17) in their last game. Despite Moreno's good performance the 12th-placed Bondi Ferrara was badly defeated 82-66 in Trieste by the much higher-ranked (#4) Alma in the East group. He was the second best scorer with 13 points. Moreno also added 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 34 minutes. This year Moreno's overall stats are: 7.4ppg, 3.2rpg, 6.1apg and 1.4spg in 24 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Cuban and Italian. Despite Moreno's Cuban nationality, he previously played for the Italian U18 national team and is probably not eligible to play for the Cuban team.

#7. Sigal Benitez (193-G-94, currently plays in Spain) helped Arenys win their game against the 12th-ranked Sant Nicolau 82-71 in the Spanish EBA (fourth division) on Saturday night. Benitez scored 9 points in 20 minutes. This year Benitez's total stats are: 6.4ppg and 2.2rpg in 24 games.
