    Metros STGO earn LNB title - Aug 17, 2017

    Metros STGO - Leones SD 94-87

    Metros STGO captured LNB title. They held off Leones SD in the fifth game of the championship series and celebrated the trophy. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 27-14. But Leones SD won third quarter 26-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Metros STGO forced 24 Leones SD turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American Robert Glenn (203-89, college: IUPUI) who scored 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Victor Liz (193-86) chipped in 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Metros STGO's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Patrick Miller (185-92, college: Tennessee St.) produced 11 points and 8 assists and naturalized American swingman Sadiel Rojas (197-89, college: Okla.Wesleyan) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Metros STGO and five Leones SD players scored in double figures.
