Dominican Republic also lost Jack Michael Martinez who was ejected after arguing with the referees. However Dominican Republic found the way to bounce back. Elpidio Fortuna (186-G-85) unloaded 10 points in the third quarter as Dominican Republic drew things level at 57 at the break. Dominican Republic pulled in front late in regulation after a basket by Guzman. But Greivis Vasquez drained a late triple to send the game into overtime.
