Fourth games of the LNB Semifinals were played last night.
Indios SF grabbed 70-69 victory against Titanes closing the series with perfect 4-0. It means that Indios advanced to the LNB Finals and now waits for the winner of Caneros - Metros series. Robert Glenn (201-F/C-89, college: IUPUI) led Indios with 15 points and 5 rebounds, while Richard Ortega followed him with 13 points. In the loosing squad, Gerardo Suero (193-G-89, college: Albany) was better than the others with 17 points and 7 rebs. Quarters: 18-18, 12-22, 23-12, 17-17.
Also last night Metros celebrated 80-77 win against Caneros. Metros jumped to 3-1 lead in the series and now needs one more victory for the finals. Evan Brock (204-F-84, college: Alabama) exploded with 20 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Their second scorer was Joseph Jones (204-C/F-86, college: Texas A&M) with 15 points (5 rebs). Caneros got double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds from Edward Santana (203-F-80, agency: Regeneracom Sports). Metros and Caneros will meet tomorrow in Game Five.

Sutton's double-double lands him Player of the Week award - 7 hours ago

27-year old center Maurice Sutton (211-C-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Titanes Licey and receives a Player of the Week award for round 13. He had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Reales LV (#7, 4-9) with 18-point margin 107-89. Titanes Licey maintains the 3rd position in Dominican Rep. league. Caneros de La Romana inks Darnell Jackson, ex Marinos - 1 day ago

Caneros de La Romana (LNB) signed 31-year old American power forward Darnell Jackson (203-122kg-85, college: Kansas). He played last season at Marinos in Venezuelan LPB league. In four games he had 7.0ppg, 4.8rpg and 1.0apg. Jackson also played that season for Yesilgiresun Bld in BSL where in 16 games he recorded very impressive stats: 16.2ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.4apg and 1.2spg. Luis Flores (ex Guaymas) joins Indios de San Francisco - 1 day ago

Indios de San Francisco (LNB) agreed terms with experienced 35-year old Dominican guard Luis Flores (188-81, college: Manhattan, agency: 011 Sports). He played this summer at Ostioneros de Guaymas in Mexican CIBACOPA. In 18 games he had very impressive stats: 18.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 4.2apg and 1.3spg. Flores helped them to make it to the semifinals.
