First game of the LNB Finals was played yesterday. Caneros registered 89-83 win for 1-0 lead in the series. The format is best-of-seven and second game is scheduled for Wednesday. Mario West (195-G-84, college: Georgia Tech) was the leading scorer in victory with 21 points. Bobby Pandy (198-F-84, college: Tex.A&M-Kingsv.) secured a great help adding 16 points, while Jose Olivero (186-PG-85, college: Lehigh) and Maurice Carter netted 13 points each. Edward Santana (203-F-80, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 11 pts to this win. At the other side, Indios got 23 points form Robert Glenn (201-F/C-89, college: IUPUI). Ollie Bailey (201-F-85, college: Oklahoma City) had 20 and Reggie Charles (201-F-81) stopped to 11.
Caneros eliminated Metros after exhausting Semifinals series. It was 4-3 win for Caneros. Indios had an easy job against Titanes smashing them with 4-0.

Rebeldes de Enriquillo won La Vega's 2016 Finals as they swept the series against Las Fieras de La Villa. In Game 4 Rebeldes celebrated a 109-97 win. Juan Miguel Suero (196-SG-93) was maned MVP of the Finals as he collected 24 points and 8 rebounds. Atletico Welcome (LUB) added to their roster 32-year old American power forward Ivan Johnson (203-116kg-84, college: Cal State - San Bernardino, agency: Haylett Sports). Rebeldes de Enriquillo extended its lead to 2-0 in the Dominican Republic's Baloncesto Superior de La Vega's 2016 Finals, by taking down Las Fieras de La Villa, 102-90, at Fernando Teruel Arena.
