Third game of the LNB Finals was played last night. Indios celebrated 101-87 victory in this meeting. They faced with two defeats in the first two games, so Caneros have 2-1 lead in this series. In Game Two, Caneros registered 89-83 win. Mario West (195-G-84, college: Georgia Tech) had 21 points and 5 rebounds for Caneros. Alejandro Carmona (194-G/F-83) followed him with 19 points and 8 rebs. In defeat, Ollie Bailey (201-F-85, college: Oklahoma City) responded with 24 points. Game Four is scheduled for tomorrow.
In the opening game of the LNB Finals Caneros also celebrated 89-83 win. Mario West was the leading scorer in victory with 21 points. Bobby Pandy (198-F-84, college: Tex.A&M-Kingsv.) secured a great help adding 16 points, while Jose Olivero and Maurice Carter netted 13 points each. Edward Santana added 11 pts to this win. At the other side, Indios got 23 points form Robert Glenn Ollie Bailey had 20 and Reggie Charles stopped to 11.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Metros STGO (10-1) in Santo Domingo on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Leones SD (7-4) 93-86. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Metros STGO. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Indios de San Francisco (LNB) added to their roster 28-year old naturalized American point guard Chris De La Rosa (175-75kg-88, college: UMBC, agency: Interperformances). Caneros de La Romana (LNB) added to their roster 29-year old American forward Landon Milbourne (201-87, college: Maryland) from Indios de San Francisco in LNB. Milbourne managed to play in three leagues last year. He also played for Manati (BSN) in Puerto Rican league that season where in 36 games he recorded 14.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 1.4apg.
