Indios de San Fransisco cut the deficit in LNB Finals. They celebrated victory in the fifth game of the series to get within one victory from Caneros at 2-3. Robert Glenn (201-F/C-89, college: IUPUI) came up with 18 points to lead the winners. The sixth and what could be decisive game of the championship series is scheduled for tomorrow at the Eleoncio Mercedes de La Romana Arena.
Indios posted a 22:16 lead after ten minutes of action. They maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. The hosts ensured a 40:34 halftime advantage. They extended the lead to 13 points in the third quarter. Caneros stayed behind throughout the fourth frame as Indios celebrated a vital win at the end. Richard Ortega (190-F-86, college: St.Joseph's) posted 13 points, while Ollie Bailey (201-F-85, college: Oklahoma City) added 12 points for the winners. Alejandro Carmona (194-G/F-83) answered with 20 points for Caneros. Edward Santana (203-F-80, agency: Regeneracom Sports) netted 17 points in the loss.

Fifth-ranked Caneros LR (4-7) made lots of trouble for first ranked Metros STGO (11-1) in Santiago on Tuesday. Metros STGO managed to secure only two-point victory 105-103. However their fans expected much easier game. American Forward Brian Conklin (198-F-89) had an amazing evening in the last round for second-ranked Leones SD, receiving a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. The 27-year old player was the main contributor (21 points, eight rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Metros STGO (#1, 10-1) 93-86. LEB Gold newcomer Marin PeixeGalego added to their roster 25-year old Dominican forward Gregorio Adon (198-91). It is actually his comeback to Marin as he has played here before.
